As an immigrant in Canada, I found it difficult to land my first day job as an IT consultant. I made several applications and interviews but was blocked by my lack of "Canadian Experience". In order to keep myself afloat, I applied for numerous different jobs until I landed my first gig as a commercial model!

 

Never in my enter life did I aspire to be a model/actress but it embraced me when I needed it most, so for that I am thankful for this industry. When I got my first IT consultant job, I decided to keep working for the entertainment industry on the side as a sign of gratitude.

I am now a Director of Software Engineering team for a tech company while have worked for various TV shows, movies, commercials and photoshoots. My main focus is lifestyle and fashion, and to serve my story as an inspiration for immigrants.
